Limitations 

Increased urinary copper excretion may occur in ICC or with chronic active hepatitis; Wilson’s disease and chronic active hepatitis may also resemble one another; thus, parameters in addition to urinary copper excretion, such as ceruloplasmin and serum coper, are needed.
